We are looking for 2 Junior CAD Designers to join our jewellery design team. This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates who have completed jewellery CAD training or have basic hands-on knowledge of jewellery designing software.
The candidate will work on creating and modifying 3D jewellery designs based on sketches, references and design requirements. Freshers with good knowledge of jewellery CAD software and a strong interest in learning are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
Create 2D and 3D CAD models of jewellery such as rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets and necklaces.
Convert sketches, images and design concepts into accurate CAD models.
Make changes and revisions based on feedback from senior designers.
Prepare designs with proper proportions, dimensions and detailing.
Understand basic stone sizes, stone placement and jewellery settings.
Ensure designs are practical and suitable for jewellery manufacturing.
Prepare CAD/STL files as required for production.
Create basic renders of jewellery designs for review and approval.
Coordinate with senior designers and production teams regarding design requirements.
Maintain and organize CAD files and design records.
Complete assigned designs within the given timelines.
Learn and follow the company's jewellery design and CAD standards.
Requirements
Freshers can apply.
Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in jewellery CAD/design will also be considered.
Basic knowledge of Rhino, Matrix, MatrixGold or similar jewellery CAD software.
Understanding of basic jewellery design concepts.
Basic knowledge of stone setting and jewellery manufacturing will be an advantage.
Ability to understand sketches, references and design instructions.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Good 3D visualization and design sense.
Willingness to learn and improve CAD skills.
Ability to work with senior designers and take feedback positively.
Ability to complete work within deadlines.
