Required Jewelry Production Planning and Control Officer (PPC)

The Production Planning and Controller  is responsible for managing and overseeing the production planning and control activities across the organization.

Production Planning and Control Job Responsibilities: 

• Develop, implement, and maintain production planning and control processes to ensure efficient operations 
• Track production progress and analyze performance to identify areas of improvement 

• Need an experienced Jewellery back office person who understands the manufacturing process well including outsourcing. 
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that production plans are met 
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary materials 
• Analyze data to determine production requirements, optimize production processes, and identify potential cost savings 
• Oversee the maintenance of quality standards in line with company policies and procedures 
• Monitor safety standards throughout the production process 
• Create reports for senior management regarding production performance.

Production Planning and Control Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field 
• 5+ years of experience in Production Planning and Control or related field 
• Must have/develop understanding of GATI/other ERP softwares

• Preferable knowledge of CAD/CAM

• Cataloguing on software is also preferred.

• Reasonable experience is required in jewellery mfg with product knowledge.
