The Inventory Manager will manage and control jewellery inventory across stores, warehouse and other locations. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, strengthening controls over high-value stock, ensuring timely reconciliation, and enabling the secure and smooth movement of inventory across locations. 

Inventory Control & Reconciliation • Manage end-to-end jewellery inventory across stores, warehouse and other locations. • Ensure accurate reconciliation between physical and system inventory, including quantity, weight, purity and tagging. • Conduct regular stock audits and investigate discrepancies, shortages, excesses and inventory losses. Stock Movement & Tracking • Manage and monitor inter-store and other stock transfers, ensuring proper authorisation and documentation. • Ensure accurate tracking of repairs, returns, exchanges and other inventory movements. • Monitor inventory ageing, slow-moving stock and store-wise inventory levels to support better stock control. Systems, Controls & Reporting • Ensure all jewellery is correctly tagged, barcoded and updated in the ERP / inventory management system. • Establish and enforce inventory SOPs, controls and audit processes consistently across locations. • Prepare regular MIS and dashboards covering stock position, variances, transfers and inventory ageing. Team & Cross-Functional Coordination • Work closely with Store, Finance, Production and Operations teams to resolve inventory-related issues. • Lead and manage the inventory team, ensuring accountability, accuracy and process discipline. • Drive consistent inventory practices across locations and ensure timely resolution of stock-control concerns.

Experience: 5–10 years of experience in jewellery inventory or retail inventory management. Experience in a reputed jewellery retail chain will be an advantage. High-Value Inventory: Strong experience handling high-value inventory with a clear understanding of the controls, accuracy and accountability required. Inventory Control: Good knowledge of stock reconciliation, physical audits, inventory controls and multi-store / multi-location inventory management. Systems & Reporting: Hands-on experience with ERP / inventory management systems, along with the ability to prepare and interpret MIS, stock reports and dashboards. Leadership & Integrity: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, high integrity and the capability to lead an inventory team with process discipline and accountability.
