Tanishq jobs: Retail Sales Officer in Bangalore

Tanishq is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Officers (RSOs) to join its premium retail team across Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in jewellery or luxury retail sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Jewellery industry experience is highly preferred. The role involves customer engagement, jewellery sales, relationship management, gold scheme enrolments, and supporting daily showroom operations while achieving individual and store sales targets.

Customer Engagement & Sales Welcome customers warmly and understand their requirements. Showcase gold, diamond, platinum, and gemstone jewellery collections. Explain product features, pricing, purity, certifications, and making charges. Assist customers in making informed purchase decisions. Prepare quotations and complete sales transactions accurately. Deliver a premium customer experience that reflects the Tanishq brand. Sales Target Achievement Achieve monthly individual and category-wise sales targets. Increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling. Promote new collections, festive offers, and exclusive products. Drive conversion rates and maximize average bill value. Meet assigned Gold Scheme (GHS/RGA) enrolment targets. Customer Relationship Management Build long-term relationships with customers. Conduct daily telecalling for promotions, birthdays, anniversaries, festive campaigns, and follow-ups. Follow up with customers for Gold Scheme instalments and account management. Conduct a minimum of 20 customer home visits per month to strengthen customer relationships and generate repeat business. Introduce high-value customers to the Store Manager or senior management team. Gold Scheme Promotion Educate customers about Tanishq Gold Savings Schemes (GHS/RGA). Explain investment and savings benefits. Resolve customer queries regarding scheme enrolments. Ensure timely collection of monthly instalments. Customer Service Handle product exchanges, returns, repairs, and after-sales service. Offer complimentary jewellery cleaning and purity checks to every customer. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the buying journey. Encourage customers to provide Google Reviews and NPS feedback. Inventory & Store Operations Maintain accurate stock records for the assigned counter. Perform daily opening and closing stock verification. Report sold items for stock replenishment. Ensure all jewellery is displayed neatly with proper product tags. Maintain visual merchandising standards and showroom cleanliness. Follow all inventory control and security procedures. Reporting & Documentation Maintain records of sales, exchanges, repairs, and customer interactions. Prepare daily sales reports and activity updates. Record customer feedback and communicate improvement opportunities to relevant teams. Report lost sales opportunities along with reasons to the Store Manager.

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Jewellery Retail or Premium Retail Sales. Jewellery industry experience is highly preferred. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam will be an added advantage. Strong sales orientation with the ability to achieve targets. Good interpersonal and negotiation skills. Professional, well-groomed, and customer-centric personality. Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.

Minimum Undergraduate. Graduate or Postgraduate candidates are preferred. Commerce background will be an added advantage.
