Tarang Diamonds is looking for an experienced GATI Operator to manage secure, accurate, and time-bound movement of diamonds and jewellery. This role is critical to ensuring material safety, documentation accuracy, and smooth coordination between internal departments and external partner
Responsibilities
Handle safe transportation and movement of diamonds/jewellery between factories, vendors, clients, and logistics partners
Coordinate with GATI courier services and ensure timely dispatch and deliveries
Maintain accurate dispatch, receipt, and stock movement records
Ensure proper documentation, invoices, challans, and courier slips are prepared and verified
Follow strict security protocols and SOPs for diamond handling
Coordinate with accounts, production, and sales teams for movement confirmation
Track shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies proactively
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
Minimum 5 years of experience as a GATI Operator or similar logistics/dispatch role in diamonds/jewellery industry
Strong understanding of diamond/jewellery movement procedures
High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail
Familiarity with courier processes, documentation, and tracking systems
Good coordination and communication skills
Ability to work responsibly under pressure and tight timelines
