As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor for Polishing and Rhodium with expertise in the export market to join our team.

Job Description: 

As a Supervisor for Polishing and Rhodium, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of finishing and plating for our jewellery pieces. 

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the polishing and rhodium plating processes, managing a team of skilled artisans, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. 

Your expertise in the export market will be essential in meeting international quality standards and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the polishing and rhodium plating processes to achieve exceptional finishing on jewellery pieces
• Manage a team of skilled artisans, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for export market requirements
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
• Monitor inventory levels of polishing and plating materials and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any quality issues or defects
• Maintain records of production output, quality control checks, and other relevant data
• Coordinate with other departments, such as design and merchandising, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to polishing and rhodium plating

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in jewellery polishing and rhodium plating, with specific experience in the export market
• Strong knowledge of polishing techniques, rhodium plating processes, and international quality standards
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Knowledge of export documentation and procedures is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
