We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records. Industry-specific experience is not required; candidates with strong accounting fundamentals and practical knowledge are encouraged to apply. The role involves bookkeeping, statutory compliance support, and assisting in financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
Support audits by preparing required documents and schedules
Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants when required
Requirements
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, or similar)
Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory filings
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good communication and coordination skills
