Zahairaa is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee daily jewellery manufacturing operations and ensure the timely production of high-quality jewellery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in jewellery manufacturing, production planning, karigar management, and quality control. This role requires strong coordination skills to ensure seamless communication between design, CAD, merchandising, and production teams while maintaining efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.

Production Planning & Execution Plan, organize, and monitor daily jewellery production activities to meet delivery schedules. Allocate work efficiently to karigars and production teams based on production priorities. Ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders while maintaining quality standards. Monitor production capacity and optimize workflow to improve efficiency. Karigar & Team Management Coordinate with karigars for manufacturing, repairs, and custom jewellery orders. Monitor daily work progress and resolve production bottlenecks. Ensure proper utilization of manpower and production resources. Maintain healthy working relationships with internal teams and external artisans. Quality Control Conduct regular quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process. Ensure finished jewellery meets company quality standards and customer specifications. Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions to minimize rework. Monitor polishing, setting, finishing, and final product quality before dispatch. Production Coordination Work closely with Design, CAD, Merchandising, Inventory, and Sales teams for smooth execution of orders. Follow up on production schedules and communicate delivery timelines. Ensure raw materials and components are available for uninterrupted production. Inventory & Material Management Monitor the availability of gold, diamonds, gemstones, findings, and consumables. Coordinate material issuance and return from production. Assist in maintaining production stock records and minimizing wastage. Ensure proper handling and security of precious materials. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily production reports and job tracking records. Prepare production status updates for management. Monitor order progress and report delays proactively. Ensure accurate documentation of production processes and quality inspections. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce turnaround time. Implement best practices to increase productivity while maintaining quality. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
