Gehna India Jewellery Job: Manual Designer with NIFT

Responsibilities:

• Create original jewellery designs that align with Gehna India Jewellery's aesthetic and quality standards.
• Hand-sketch design concepts and detailed drawings for high-end custom jewellery pieces.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure design feasibility and to oversee the execution of designs into finished products.
• Research and anticipate fashion trends in jewellery design and incorporate them into Gehna collections.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide bespoke design services.
• Select appropriate gemstones, metals, and materials for each design project.
• Continuously refine skills and keep abreast of new techniques and trends in jewellery design.

Required Qualifications:

• A degree from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) or a similar esteemed institution, specializing in Jewellery Design or a closely related field.
• Proven experience as a Manual Jewellery Designer or similar role.
• Exceptional hand-drawing skills with the ability to create detailed design sketches.
• Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, materials, and gemstone setting techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Creativity, with an eye for color, texture, and pattern in the context of jewellery design.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and jewellery styles.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
