CAD Designer must have in-depth experience and knowledge creating jewellery pieces of intermediate to advanced difficulty levels in Rhino. Responsible for execution of designs while adhering to functional and aesthetic objectives as proposed by the customers.

Responsibilities:
 

• Create designs from start to finish with minimal supervision and understand team processes and aesthetics fluently.
• Be able to create functional designs by understanding sketches and technical specifications in detail.
• Knowledge and ability to create stone settings and mechanisms such as claps, connections, and hinges.
• Provide input on timelines to completion; translate design concept into a physical piece within established project time frame.
• Be knowledgeable of production techniques and how to build and split models for various production processes.

Qualifications
 

• Minimum 2 years of CAD experience specific to jewellery or similar product category.
• Experience with ProJet or Solidscape prototyping machines are a plus.
• Proficient in RHINO 5
• Understanding of matrix is also important. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Standard office equipment.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
• Design portfolio to show experience in work completed
• In-depth technical understanding or jewellery manufacturing
