Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planning and Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
- Coordinate with different departments, such as design, procurement, and manufacturing, to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audits.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Prepare production reports and provide regular updates to management regarding production status and performance.
- Manage and prioritize production orders based on customer requirements and production capacity.
- Support the implementation of new production technologies and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in production planning and control, preferably in the jewelry or luxury goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using production planning software and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
