Jewel Counter is looking to hire a Sr CAD Designer who must have in-depth experience and knowledge creating jewellery pieces of in Rhino.
Responsibilities:
- Create designs from start to finish with minimal supervision and understand team processes and aesthetics fluently.
- Be able to create functional designs by understanding sketches and technical specifications in detail.
- Knowledge and ability to create stone settings and mechanisms such as claps, connections, and hinges.
- Provide input on timelines to completion; translate design concept into a physical piece within established project time frame.
- Be knowledgeable of production techniques and how to build and split models for various production processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of CAD experience specific to jewelry or similar product category.
- Must have knowledge of jewelry production for US and/or Europe customers.
- Experience with ProJet or Solidscape prototyping machines are a plus.
- Proficient in RHINO 5
- Understanding of matrix is also important.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Standard office equipment.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
- Design portfolio to show experience in work completed
