Job Description and KRA: 

We are looking for someone who can understand paper designs and their linking and design the CAD accordingly The current vacancy is for a full-time cad technician who can use Rhino/Matrix to a high level. Our work involves mass pave layout and techniques laying gems on organic surfaces from Z brush/ T-Splines. The person will be responsible for making jewellery design and 360° videos. 

• Create designs from start to finish with minimal supervision and understand team processes and aesthetics fluently.
• Be able to create functional designs by understanding sketches and technical specifications in detail.
• Knowledge and ability to create stone settings and mechanisms such as claps, connections, and hinges.
• Provide input on timelines to completion; translate design concept into a physical piece within established project time frame.
• Be knowledgeable of production techniques and how to build and split models for various production processes.
• Should have knowledge on the Export market as well as Indian market.

Skills needed: 

• Minimum 3-5 years of CAD experience specific to jewellery or similar product category.
• Experience with ProJet or Solidscape prototyping machines are a plus.
• Proficient in RHINO  and Matrix
• Mass pave layout and techniques laying gems on organic surfaces from Z brush/ T-Splines. 
•  Knowledge in creating the cad files for the order process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Standard office equipment.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
• Design portfolio to show experience in work completed
• In-depth technical understanding or jewellery manufacturing
