Search Engine Optimizer-Team lead

At Mars jewellery, we are seeking someone with great hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization, this includes on page SEO, technical SEO, creative off page strategies and Google Analytics.

Role: SEO Team Lead

Responsibilities:

1. Should handle a team of SEO Executives
2. The SEO lead would be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of analysts to drive business success
3. Developing detailed project plans and monitoring progress while delivering projects on time and meeting quality standards
4. Managing the work assignments of team members and making decisions about their day-to-day operations
5. To perform a quality check on outgoing work by the team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality
6. Brainstorm new and creative SEO growth strategies
7. Implement SEO best practices like keyword intent audit, content skeleton audit, content gap analysis, on-page optimization, etc. to ensure top spots on the SERP for the managed categories
8. Manage the quality of the work, assign all tasks, and drive the people management activities within the team

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience with SEO reporting
• Familiarity with relevant tools  and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Web Trends)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
• 5+ years of experience in the related field
