Responsibilities
- Supervise employees, work to improve retail performance, set sales goals, and assist customers.
- Recruiting and training store associates, determining schedules for employees, and providing advice on gem and material selection.
- Arranging stock
- Training staff in effective sales and communication strategies.
- The jewelry store manager also plans and prepares work schedules for jewelry store personnel, assigns employees to specific duty requirements of the store
- Communicating with vendors to identify new trends in jewelry styles and materials.
