We are looking to hire a Retail Gemologist for our Tanishq franchise. The role involves supporting customers with expert gemstone and jewelry guidance while maintaining Tanishq’s quality and service standards.
Responsibilities
Identify, grade, and evaluate gemstones and diamond jewelry
Provide clear and honest gemstone consultations to customers
Support the sales team with product knowledge and certifications
Verify authenticity and quality of gemstones and jewelry pieces
Assist in inventory checks and documentation
Follow Tanishq guidelines for quality, ethics, and customer service
Requirements
Certification or diploma in Gemology (GIA, IGI, or equivalent)
1–3 years of experience in retail jewelry preferred
Strong knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals
Good communication and customer handling skills
Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and professional
