Job Description
The Retail Sales Officer (RSO) will be responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience while driving sales for the brand’s jewellery collections. The role requires strong customer engagement, deep product knowledge, and the ability to guide customers through the jewellery buying journey. Candidates should be capable of achieving sales targets while maintaining high service standards in a premium retail environment.
Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales
Welcome customers and provide a professional and personalized shopping experience.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable gold, diamond, or jewellery collections.
Explain product features including metal purity, gemstones, design details, and pricing.
Assist customers in selecting jewellery for occasions such as weddings, gifting, and personal purchases.
Achieve individual and team sales targets set by store management.
Product Knowledge & Presentation
Maintain in-depth knowledge of jewellery products and current collections.
Ensure proper display, merchandising, and presentation of jewellery items in the store.
Assist in showcasing new collections and promotional offers.
Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases.
Maintain customer records and follow up on inquiries or purchase interests.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Store Operations Support
Assist with inventory management, stock verification, and product tagging.
Support billing processes and ensure smooth completion of sales transactions.
Follow company policies, security procedures, and retail store guidelines.
Requirements
5+ years of retail sales experience for RSO – L2 role.
10+ years of retail sales experience for RSO – L3 role.
Experience in jewellery retail or luxury retail preferred.
Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
Ability to build trust with customers and maintain a professional demeanor.
Sales-driven mindset with the ability to achieve targets.
Presentable personality suitable for a premium retail environment.
