We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for a jewellery manufacturing unit. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and repairing machinery and utilities used in jewellery production. The technician will ensure smooth day-to-day operations and help minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee maintenance of all machinery, tools, and production equipment in the jewellery factory.
2. Handle AC repair, plumbing, and electrical maintenance tasks.
3. Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance measures.
4. Monitor and maintain facility infrastructure including lighting, ventilation, and water supply.
5. Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, service reports, and breakdowns.
6. Ensure strict compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
Requirements
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
Experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment (jewellery or small-scale manufacturing preferred)
Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, motors, and mechanical systems
Ability to handle emergency breakdowns
Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
