Diamond Assorter
Responsibilities
1) Selects diamonds according to type and size, for use in cutting tools ring mountings.
2) Studies grade, quality, color skin and physical structure of rough or finished diamonds.
3) Sorts stones according to quality type, using magnifying glass or loupe.
4) Determines size of stone, using measuring gauge or sizing plate, and sorts diamonds of same size into containers.
5) May weigh stones, using diamond weighing scale, to verify weight.

- Manage own time and the time of others.
Experience:
5+ years of experience as diamond assorter in Jewellery companies.
