Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a jewellery industry background to manage financial records, stock-related accounting, and compliance. The candidate should have strong knowledge of jewellery accounting practices including metal valuation, inventory accounting, and taxation.

Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records (Sales, Purchase, Cash & Bank entries)

Handle jewellery inventory accounting and stock reconciliation

Manage billing, invoicing, and GST compliance

Prepare financial reports, ledgers, and balance sheets

Monitor accounts payable and receivable

Work on JMS (Jewellery Management System) for data entry and reporting

Coordinate with sales team for stock and billing accuracy

Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness

Handle vendor payments and follow-ups

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in jewellery accounting (Mandatory)

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation

Hands-on experience with JMS (Jewellery Management System) preferred

Good understanding of inventory management in jewellery retail

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

High attention to detail and accuracy
