Job Description
We are looking for Sales manager for Erawat Pharma Limited at Indore Location.
Job Description:
- Do market research, conduct analysis to understand business trends, current/new business opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare sales budget and get approval from Management.
- Design departmental work processes & systems for management of sales department.
- Receive business leads, references or refer marketing portals, websites, social media to identify prospective leads.
- Take appointment of customer for visit. Meet the customer and give effective presentation about the organization and products/solutions.
- Understand the customer requirement and coordinate with in- house team to develop or submit sample along with quotation. Do follow up with customers to provide additional information if required. Convert the lead into sales. Collect sales order. Achieve given business targets.
- Monitor the sales generated from new customers. Visit customers to develop relations. Take initiatives to increase the business share.
- Visit the current customers periodically. Understand new product requirements. Submit samples. Do follow up for orders. Take initiatives to improve current business share. Develop relations and generate business references.
- Update sales orders in the system. Coordinate with plant to monitor the production and dispatch status. Ensure delivery is completed as per given schedule.
- Monitor the payment collection reports. Understand payment outstanding. Do follow ups for payment collection. Achieve payment collection targets.
- Receive customer complaints related to quality and delivery. Communicate complaints to quality and production team. If required arrange customer visit to sort out the complaints. Provide after sales support. Ensure customer complaints are solved on time.
- Develop and maintain cordial relations with clients. Provide ongoing updates about organizational improvements and innovations. Take feedback about products/solutions. Understand the areas of improvements and communicate to team members.
- Plan and take initiatives for client engagement. Improve association and generate references for business development.
- Study and analyse sales performance against targets. Identify areas of improvements and provide inputs to Management. Take measures to improve sales performance.
- Continuously upgrade job-related competencies (knowledge/skills/behaviour) and contribute in the growth of Organization.
- Prepare manpower plan for business development and growth. Recruit sales team. Develop performance driven culture. Identify training and development needs of team and provide opportunities. Set individual performance targets for team members.
- Conduct periodical performance assessment of team members and provide ongoing feedback to improve performance. Identify team members having potential and provide guidance for development.
- Compile and provide daily/weekly/monthly reports to Management as per requirement.
