We are looking for qualified and detail-oriented Gemmologists to join our Pune operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of diamonds and coloured gemstones, with hands-on experience in grading, evaluation, and quality verification.

The role involves gemstone authentication, supporting sales teams, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring transparent communication with internal teams and customers.

Gemstone Identification & Grading Evaluate and grade diamonds based on the 4Cs (Cut, Colour, Clarity, Carat) Identify and test natural and synthetic gemstones Conduct gemstone verification using gemological instruments (loupe, microscope, refractometer, etc.) Detect treated, lab-grown, or synthetic stones 2️⃣ Certification & Documentation Verify and interpret GIA / IGI / HRD or other certification reports Maintain accurate grading and inventory documentation Ensure proper tagging and classification of gemstone inventory Prepare reports for internal tracking and audits 3️⃣ Quality Control & Inventory Support Inspect incoming and outgoing stones/jewellery for quality compliance Coordinate with procurement and production teams Conduct stock audits and maintain accuracy of inventory records 4️⃣ Sales & Customer Support (If Retail-Based) Assist sales team with technical explanations of gemstones Educate customers on certification, quality parameters, and pricing Resolve customer queries regarding stone authenticity 5️⃣ Compliance & Ethical Standards Follow company SOPs and industry grading standards Ensure ethical practices in evaluation and reporting Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity in grading processes
