Job Description

Retail Sales Officer for Tanishq handling customer engagement jewellery sales gold schemes stock management and premium store experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage with the customer to understand the customer’s requirement • Introduce the various product offering to the customers and facilitate customer buying decision • Provide excellent customer service and become an ambassador of Tanishq by offering a positive customer experience during the sales process • Prepare the estimate of the products selected and complete the sales transaction • Achieve category wise sales target for the allocated section • Assist the customer in a sales return or repair work • Achieve assigned monthly sales targets through focused selling of products, cross-selling, and upselling techniques • Conduct tele-calling daily for occasions, promotions, birthdays, anniversary wishes, marketing activities, gold scheme payment collection, etc. • RSO should conduct regular customer home visits and invite customers for purchases, with a minimum of 20 home visits per month. • Work towards achieving monthly sales targets for gold scheme (GHS/RGA) enrolments, while engaging with customers to explain the savings and investment opportunities offered by the gold scheme and addressing any queries or concerns, they may have • Regular follow-up with customers should be done to collect monthly (GHS/RGA) scheme payments/Account Management • Ensure proper record-keeping of jewellery transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges and repairs in accordance with company policies and procedures • Offer free cleaning and purity checks for every customer walking in, whether they have Tanishq or any other jewellery • All products should be arranged immediately after the customer leaves and ensure that not a single product is without a product tag • Count and maintain the account of stock daily by managing the record of the opening stock and closing stock in the section allocated report the sold stock and ensure the stock replenishment • Ensure proper and attractive display of the products at the appropriate counter • Introduce high value customers to the Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager / Floor Manager / Merchandiser • Ensure that each customer writes their review and feedback (NPS / Google ratings) • Collate and relay customer feedback to the corporate teams like the merchandising, retail operations etc. to improve customer satisfaction and store ratings • Report immediately to the manager any customer who do not make purchases, along with the appropriate reason

Requirements

• We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is enthusiastic about sales and customer engagement • Candidate should be fluent in English • Ability to speak in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil Telugu and Malayalam will be an added advantage • 1-3 years of Jewellery or Retail work experience • Who can apply: Both Male and Female • Should be between 21 to 35 years of age • Minimum education qualification should be Undergraduate or Postgraduate (Commerce background)
