Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate with design team to ensure quality and accuracy of designs 
• Monitor production process to ensure efficient and timely completion of jewelry pieces 
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed 
• Develop and maintain production schedules 
• Establish and monitor quality control standards 
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions 
• Maintain records of production and inventory levels 
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
 

Scope of the Production Manager Role

1. General business operations 

2. Production planning, scheduling and control 

3. Quality control and technical trouble shooting 

4. Assessing project and resource requirements 

5. Tracking and monitoring the production process, set benchmarks with optimum resource utilization. 

6. Develop processes for data collection, analysis, and implementation of new methods. 

7. Monitor - Productivity, Rejection levels and review action plans, Shop vital objectives, Cost per gram (Overall & department-wise), Shift plans, Days of gold stock

 Key Deliverables

1. EMD Hygiene - Ensure production as per deadlines. 

2. Quality - Ensure production adherence as per approved quality standards, devising SOPs for effective control. 

3. Gold loss control management (Collection, Refining and Recovery) 

4. Output quality, quantity, and cost management 

5. Manpower - Recruitment, training and efficiency

Skill Requirements

1. UG/PG degree 

2. Experience: 5+ years as a Production manager 

3. Expertise in jewellery production - Gold, diamonds, gemstones 

4. Strong Communication and interpersonal skills 

5. Effective team management and team building 

6. Strong computer skills (Excel, Google sheets, etc.)

7.  Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes and techniques

8. Analytical and problem solving skills 

9. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively

10.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
