Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the cashier system and process customer transactions accurately using ACME software.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions about products, pricing, and promotions.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area and ensure that the checkout process is smooth and efficient.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and returns while ensuring accuracy.
• Process daily cash and credit reports and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store, including balancing registers.
• Provide support to the sales team by helping with merchandise when needed.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and follow store policies and procedures.
• Assist customers with gift wrapping and packaging of jewellery items.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store promotions, sales, and inventory.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a cashier, preferably in retail or a jewellery store environment.
• Proficient in using ACME software or similar POS systems.
• Excellent numerical and cash handling skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Previous experience in luxury or high-end retail is a plus but not required.
