Job Description

1. Process Optimization & Efficiency Enhancement:
a. Lead and execute Lean Management & TQM strategies across the jewellery manufacturing process.

b. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production workflows and implement process improvements.

c. Utilize Lean tools (5S, Kanban, Kaizen) and TQM principles (customer focus, process standardization, continuous feedback loops) to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

d. Drive cost reduction initiatives through process optimization.

2.TQM Implementation & Quality Enhancement:
a. Apply TQM methodologies to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.

b. Establish and monitor quality control checkpoints throughout the production cycle.
c. Implement continuous feedback loops to identify areas for quality improvement.
d. Promote total employee involvement by encouraging cross-functional participation in TQM initiatives.

3. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
a. Collaborate with Production, CAD, QC, Procurement, and Operations teams to implement continuous improvement and TQM projects.

b. Conduct regular review meetings with department heads to discuss improvement goals and progress.
c. Ensure seamless communication across departments to align on process changes and drive consistency.

4. CNC Machining & Process Execution:
a. Supervise and coordinate with the CNC operations team for precision detailing, engraving, and cutting.
b. Optimize CNC programs to meet design specifications with maximum efficiency.
c. Ensure CNC process standardization under Lean and TQM frameworks for consistent quality output.
d. Identify and resolve any CNC-related issues with the technical team.
5. Lean & TQM Training and Coaching:
a. Provide training and coaching to employees on Lean principles and TQM practices.
b. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting employee engagement in process enhancement initiatives.
c. Lead workshops and Kaizen events to implement TQM and Lean methodologies effectively.
6. Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring:
a. Utilize data analysis tools to measure and track process and quality performance.
b. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
c. Generate monthly reports on improvement initiatives, highlighting outcomes and areas for further enhancement.
7. Cost Reduction & Resource Optimization:
a. Identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements, material optimization, and waste minimization.
b. Collaborate with Procurement and Production teams to optimize resource utilization.
Ensure alignment with budgetary goals while driving continuous improvement.
8. Project Management & Execution:
a. Plan and manage continuous improvement and TQM projects from initiation to completion.
b. Develop and implement action plans with clear timelines, deliverables, and accountability measures.
c. Ensure timely execution of improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes.
9. Compliance & Quality Standards:
a. Ensure all improvement projects comply with international jewellery manufacturing standards, ISO guidelines, and company quality policies. b. Collaborate with the QC team to monitor and enhance product quality through TQM principles and process improvements.
