Responsibilities
Leads a team of software professionals focused on the operational excellence, security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization of IT infrastructure.
Serves as a manager by removing roadblocks, developing talent, and assessing performance of direct reports within the team.
Collaborates with peers to develop a unified approach to technology solutions that support LKS business goals.
Advocates technology strategy with the business.
Coaches, motivates, and professionally develops staff.
Promotes teamwork and collaboration with staff and peers.
Provide leadership for technology strategies and decisions.
Communicator to the Leadership team at LKS about the tools and technology for growth
Ensures adherence to cyber security and governance standards.
Drives adoption Infrastructure as code mindset and DevSecOps practices
Reviews, evaluates, and prepares periodic performance reports of staff and maintain 1 on 1 on a regular basis.
Responsible managing team workload and efficiently handling the resources.
Provides input for an annual budget from Technology costs
Establishes and maintains client or vendor relationships as needed.
Education
Atleast a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field
Experience
10+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology is required.
3 to 8 years of experience as a leader with a demonstrated ability of successful team leadership is a plus.
