Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Customer Service to drive after-sales service excellence across the jewellery retail network. The role focuses on service quality, turnaround time (TAT), customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency while managing service centers, vendors, and store-level service execution.
Responsibilities
🛠️ Service Operations & Delivery
Manage regional service centers and network service requirements
Ensure high-quality servicing of jewellery (repairs, modifications, resizing, etc.)
Drive reduction in service lead time and cost optimization
Monitor and improve service TAT across all stores in the region
💎 After-Sales Service Excellence
Ensure quality standards in repair and modification services
Drive revenue through jewellery modification services
Implement structured processes and methodologies for service delivery
👥 Karigar & Vendor Management
Anchor Karigar recruitment and skill development programs
Develop and manage service vendors within the region
Ensure vendor lead times, payments, and material reconciliation
📦 Operations & Inventory Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of Regional Service Centers (RSC)
Manage service inventory and ensure accuracy
Implement lean principles to improve service efficiency
🔗 Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams (commercial systems, technical services, supply chain)
Work closely with manufacturing teams to address product defects
Provide feedback for preventive quality improvements
📊 Customer Experience & Complaint Resolution
Act as first point of contact (SPOC) for product-related customer complaints
Ensure timely resolution and high customer satisfaction
Drive NPS (Net Promoter Score) and CSAT improvements
🏬 Franchisee & Market Management
Manage franchisee service operations and resolve service-related issues
Drive service-related initiatives across franchise network
Act as Voice of Customer (VOC) by sharing market and product feedback
📈 Market Insights & Analysis
Continuously monitor competitor service standards and market trends
Provide actionable insights for service and product improvements
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in jewellery industry
Background in studded jewellery manufacturing / quality / inspection preferred
Strong understanding of after-sales service operations
Experience in vendor and karigar management
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
