We are looking for US Sales representatives in New York region. He/she will make long-term sales relationships with Jewelry retailers and designers in the US.
Your knowledge of the Jewelry industry and network with independent retailers will help shape the purchase of their inventory.
Your key responsibility will be to build relationships and drive sales with our retail and e-commerce customers in and around your region and help them accelerate their digital transformation by leveraging our marketplace and SaaS solutions. You will also develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the customers' core business objectives, challenges, and business position relative to the industry, market, and competition.
This is a position to be an individual contributor in an industry that is on the cusp of transformation through use of technology. You will be reporting to a veteran who has spent 40 years in the industry. It is an opportunity to work and grow with a team of an amazing set of folks from the Technology and Jewelry Industry.
Sales Rep Job Responsibilities
- Drive sales by selling to Jewelry retailers.
- Experience in multi-door retail sales/product placement/retail shelf buying etc. you will be responsible for onboarding retailers and designers on to the Riyalto platform.
- Following processes to manage the day-to-day account of customers. Strong process orientation is needed.
- Understanding the requirements of the customers and working with Customer Success team and the merchandising team to create line sheets and product sheets for the customer.
- Responsible for high-level customer engagements with independent and mid-size retailers.
Sales Rep Job Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in business Administration degree or equivalent practical experience. 4-year degree in Business or related field required (Master’s degree in business is preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in multi-door retail sales, account management or related fields
- 2+ years of consumer products sales management experience with a proven track record of success
- Experience in the Gems, diamond, and Jewelry industry is preferred. Strongly prefer a mix of experience within fashion and/or multi-format retail.
- Extensive experience across diverse channels. Excellent planning and execution skills.
- Extensive knowledge of professional selling and the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships within the Jewelry industry.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of various routes to market and business models
