Job Description
We are looking for a style-conscious professional to act as both a Fashion Consultant and
a Customer Service Representative. You will provide expert styling advice for Indian ethnic
wear—including sarees, lehengas, Semi suits, Duppatas and custom-stitched outfits—while
ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction through efficient query resolution and post
sales support.
Responsibilities
Personal Styling & Consultation: Assist customers in selecting complete looks for special
occasions like weddings and festivals. Recommend suitable fabrics (silk, handloom, etc.),
color palettes, and silhouettes based on the customer’s body type and preferences.
• Fabric & Design Expertise: Provide technical advice on different textiles, weaving
techniques, and embroidery. Guide customers on customization options, such as
neckline changes or add-on work, and coordinate with the tailoring team.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Build and maintain a client book with
customer preferences and purchase history. Proactively reach out to VIP clients with
information on new arrivals or exclusive previews.
• Front-End Service Operations: Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, or inperson. Resolve complaints, process exchanges, and manage the feedback mechanism to
improve store service.
• Sales & Conversion: Achieve individual sales targets by effectively upselling and crossselling accessories (e.g., jewelry, stoles) to complete the ethnic look.
• Visual Merchandising Support: Collaborate with the VM team to ensure mannequins
and displays are styled according to current trends and brand guidelines.
Requirements
Experience: 2–3 years in fashion retail, ideally in a premium Indian ethnic wear or luxury
segment.
• Core Skills:
o Strong knowledge of Indian textiles and ethnic fashion trends.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English,Kannada,Hindi & other
regional languages)
o Ability to handle difficult customers with empathy and professionalism.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Retail POS systems and CRM software
