Job Description

We are seeking a well-groomed and customer-centric Sales Executive to join our retail team.
You will be responsible for assisting walk-in customers, showcasing our latest ethnic collections
(sarees, lehengas, suit sets & dupattas), and providing detailed information on various fabric
types and their care.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and understand their requirements for specific occasions like weddings or festivals. • Styling & Product Demonstration: Suggest suitable outfits, colors, and fabrics based on the customer's body type and preferences. Demonstrate fabric quality and explain traditional weaving or embroidery techniques. • Sales Targets: Actively work towards achieving individual and store-level sales targets through upselling and cross-selling (e.g., suggesting matching dupattas or accessories). • Inventory & Display: Maintain an orderly and visually appealing store appearance. Assist in restocking shelves, tagging new merchandise, and managing trial rooms. • Billing & Transactions: Accurately process customer payments using POS systems, handle cash/card transactions, and manage basic administrative tasks like daily sales reporting. • Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and handle any customer queries or complaints professionally.

Requirements

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian fabrics (silks, cottons, handlooms) and current ethnic fashion trends. • Communication: Fluent in the local language and basic English/Hindi to effectively interact with diverse clientele. • Attributes: Presentable personality, high energy, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
