The Retail Sales Officer will be responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience while driving jewellery sales. The role requires strong customer engagement, product knowledge, and the ability to guide customers through the jewellery buying process. Candidates should be passionate about retail sales and capable of achieving store sales targets while maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities
Welcome customers into the store and provide a warm, professional shopping experience. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable jewellery products. Explain product details including metal purity, gemstones, design features, and pricing. Assist customers in selecting jewellery for occasions such as weddings, gifts, or personal purchases. Achieve individual and team sales targets set by store management. Maintain excellent product presentation and ensure jewellery displays are well organized. Build long-term relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits. Maintain customer records and follow up with potential buyers. Assist in stock verification, inventory management, and product tagging. Support billing and ensure smooth completion of sales transactions. Follow company policies, store procedures, and customer service standards.
Requirements
Prior experience in jewellery retail, luxury retail, or showroom sales preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused approach with the ability to build trust with clients. Sales-driven attitude with the ability to meet targets. Presentable personality suitable for a premium retail environment. Basic knowledge of jewellery products is an added advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and flexible shifts.
