The Account Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of an organization or department.
Accountant Manager is an important role in any business or organization. A professional accountant manager oversees all financial transactions, prepares reports and handles crucial financial decisions. It is their responsibility to ensure accounting activities are managed efficiently and accurately.
The roles of an Accountant Manager include preparing and monitoring budgets, generating statements of accounts, analyzing financial data, creating cash flow forecasts, managing costs and expenses, providing advice on investments and other areas of finance as well as developing strategies for long-term growth. They must ensure accuracy in the reporting of financial information to internal stakeholders as well as external regulatory bodies. They may also be involved in auditing activities such as risk assessment procedures and fraud detection processes. Additionally, they need to stay informed on current legislation regarding taxation laws so that they can provide relevant advice to clients or colleagues when necessary.
Account Manager Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Analyze complex financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
• Monitor and track expenses to ensure accuracy
• Oversee compliance with internal controls and applicable laws
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Prepare financial reports for management review
• Manage investments and cash flow to maximize returns
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders
Account Manager Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and principles
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Previous experience with Jewelry Industry preferred
• If you have ICWA or CA is a big plus
• Atleast 5 + yrs experience in Accounting is needed
