We are looking for experienced Gemologists to join our stores at TCR and Gandhinagar. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in gemstone identification, grading, and quality evaluation, along with the ability to support sales teams and ensure customer confidence through technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
Identify, authenticate, and grade gemstones (precious & semi-precious)
Evaluate gemstone quality based on color, clarity, cut, carat, and origin
Prepare and verify gemstone certification and grading reports
Support retail sales teams with product knowledge and technical explanations
Assist customers with gemstone-related queries and buying decisions
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and industry regulations
Coordinate with sourcing, merchandising, and QC teams
Maintain accurate gemstone inventory records and documentation
Stay updated on global gemstone trends, treatments, and market values
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Gemologist in the jewellery industry
Strong expertise in gemstone grading, identification, and valuation
Experience working in retail / luxury jewellery environment preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-facing experience is an added advantage
Immediate joiners or candidates with notice period less than 30 days preferred
